Help A South Wales Child is our charity that raises money for local under-privileged kids and community projects. In 2004 HASWC raised over £180,000, supported more than 55 local groups working with children, Women's Aid Shelters, Young Carers associations, Special Schools and the Special Olympics Wales. 2005 has smashed targets by raising £208,000 which doubled the 2003 total of £100,000. HASWC is part of a chain of Capital Radio Station charities who have raised £3.2 million across the UK this year.
