Rachel Weybourne proudly presents the award for Best Website at the 2007 Media4Schools Awards.

 

The Media4Schools Awards ceremony was held at the BBC Cymru Studios in Cardiff on the 24th October 2007 and showcased the best talent from schools across South Wales.

 

Rachel Weybourne, Marketing Director of the Microsoft Award Winning SEOsitebuilder.com, was thrilled to be part of the event in regard to sponsoring and presenting the award for Best Website 2007.

 

‘It is a great pleasure to be involved with the Media4Schools initiative and sponsor the Best Website award for 2007. I am very impressed with the talent that I have witnessed whilst deciding on a winner and it really is refreshing to see so many young adults becoming involved in new technology and communicating to a very wide audience’ commented Rachel Weybourne.

 

After much deliberation, Rachel crowned Gyln Derw High School Best Website 2007. The winning school were commended for their achievement with a £200 cheque. Additionally Rachel presented the school with the SEO Startup website solution which will enable the pupils to create from scratch their very own user friendly yet professional looking website.

Media4Schools is an education based media training initiative which introduces a combination of TV Programme Production and Enterprise for schools. The scheme promotes the voice of young people within society in regard to increasing the perception of vocational learning within education as well as raising the aspirations of young people.
