‘I am honoured to be a finalist for this award along such admirable contestants. I also believe I have a fantastic team around me who are a pleasure to work with and also allowed me to grow as a person and as a leader.’

During the award ceremony that took place at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff on the 15th February 2007, individuals from all levels of private, public and voluntary Welsh sectors were being recognised for their outstanding leadership skills which are positively affecting their organisations.

“Wales has outstanding leaders in all walks of life and these awards celebrate the people who, thanks to their superb leadership skills, have made a real difference in their organisation,” said Barbara Chidgey, spokesperson for the Leading Wales Awards, the consortium of public and private sector organisations that developed and organise the awards.

“As always, the calibre of entries has been extremely high with nominations put forward from right across Wales. Our finalists have all made an impact with their leadership and we are delighted to be able to recognise that with these awards.”
